Duties and Responsibilities of an Assistant Manager

  • Assisting the manager in their daily tasks
  • Compiling of all the reports that have to be checked on a daily basis
  • Assist the manager in organizing, planning and implementing strategy
  • Coordinate operations
  • Ensure schedules and objectives are met
  • Supervise and motivate staff
  • Monitor operating costs, budgets and resources
  • Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs and specifications
  • Create reports, analyze and interpret data
  • Drive recruitment process and training & development
  • Secure adherence to company's policies and guidelines

Education Required for the Post of Assistant Manager

  • At least an associates degree
  • At least 4 to 5 years of direct suoervision or management

Computer Skills

  • MS Office Suite required
